ABOUT PROJECT

The project at Loch Avenue included the restoration of an existing weatherboard house, landscaping, and the construction of an extension to the rear. Constructing a modern structure to contrast the original weatherboard home presented numerous complexities that were uncovered as the scope extended. Designed by Here Studio Architects, the home is a display of what can be achieved when juxtaposing architectural design. 

The end result is a warm home that embodies the client’s experiences and memories. This project has been celebrated in Australian House & Garden magazine, and in Italian and British print publications.
